Google Chrome web browser is running slow

I have been using Google Chrome from some time now. But recently I started facing issues while using it. The Google Chrome browser has slowed down considerably and it is not providing the desired speed. The webpages are taking considerably longer time to open, which is very irritating at times. Does anyone have any idea on what is causing this particular issue in Google Chrome? Please help me as any kind of help and suggestions will be appreciated by me.

The Google Chrome is taking longer time to open up webpage then its usual time because; there might be some kind of problem in your Internet Connection. So, it would be better if you make sure that your Interent connection is proper and you are receiving enough Internet speed to browse and view videos by using your Google Chrome browser. Any issue related to slow browsing are usually concerned with the speed of the internet which you are using. You should probably optimize your Internet connection to get better speed.

As you have mentioned that you started facing this kind of issue in recently times and it did not existed before, it is clear that your system is under some kind of virus or any other malicious germs attack. So, I would recommend you first make sure that you have installed a good antivirus application in your system. Second, make sure that you have kept your antivirus database updated. Once you have achieved this, scan your entire system to detect any infectious files in your system.

I am also facing this issue while viewing videos from Google Chrome browser. This seems to be a very irritating issue with Google Chrome. The only solution which had helped me is moving from Google Chrome to some another web browser. You can try using Internet Browser or Mozilla Firefox for the same. I also seriously feel that Chrome developers should seriously start looking upon some solution to fix the issue in their new updates.

According to me, the Google Chrome which you have installed in your system is outdated and that is why it is taking lots of time while you are trying to view websites. So I would suggest you to start your Google Chrome and update the browser by clicking on Update now link under the help section in the main menu. Make sure that you install the updates without facing any errors. And once you have installed the update, restart your system to bring the changes into effect.

Thank you, people for helping and guiding me. As you all suggested I made sure that there is no issue with the Internet connection speed, also everything looks like updated including the softwares which are installed in my system. I tried Internet Explorer and it seems to be working way faster than the Google Chrome which is installed in my system. So, now I have decided to shift my base from Google Chrome web browser to the Internet Explorer. Atleast it will be working faster than the Chrome browser,

    SOLUTION:

I was having the same problem and came across a post with a solution that worked!!

    1. open Internet Explorer (yes, I know this is for CHROME running slow but just stick with me on this)
    2. Open tools
    3. select Internet options
    4. Click on the connections tab
    5. click on LAN settings
    6. remove the check mark in Detect settings automatically and then ok
    7. Back out and close internet Explorer
    8. Reopen Chrome and your problem should be fixed

    Good luck!!
