Is there any way to remove text from the browser window in google chrome

I am using Google chrome in my DELL laptop. First I was using the Google chrome 10, after that I updated my Google chrome browser and installed the Google chrome 11 in my laptop after that I am facing one issue with my browser. In Google chrome on left side of the window Import bookmarks now buttons normally appears but I have already imported the bookmarks in my browser, now please tell me how to how to remove that button from my browser. I was able remove that easily from previous version.

I think you can remove that button from your browser by doing these steps. First go to the settings and then go to the bookmark setting. After doing that uncheck the box of view bookmarks on window. After that click on the ok and after that close the browser, now start the browser again. After restarting the browser you will not find that button on your browser. I hope this idea will be helpful to you and you will be able to solve the problem. If you want to know any thing more then please let me know.

I have gone through your problem and I was also facing the similar kind of problem with my browser also. After that I have tried to solve the problem by disabling the bookmarks bar from setting but after doing that I was not able to access the shortcut of bookmark bar. That is why I have enabled the bookmark bar again. After that I uninstalled the Google chrome from my system and installed it again and after that when I tried to remove it at that time I was not facing any issues.

After watching the all the above post I have tried to solve the problem. I tried to remove that button by going in to setting of the Google chrome but after following those steps also I am not able to solve this problem. After that I also tried to solve the problem by uninstalling the Google chrome and installing it again in my laptop but it didn’t make any difference also. Now please tell me what I should do to remove that button. Please let me know if oyu have any other solution.

If you are still not able to remove that button from your browser and if you have tried to fix the problem by trying the above solution then I think you should switch to the old version of Google chrome. I think installing the old version in your system will not give you any issues, as you have said in your earlier post that in old version you were not facing this problem. So just install the old version and then let me know what the result is? If you want to know anything more then tell me.

I don't know if you figured out your problem but maybe this add- on will help you out it helps to get rid of the header,sidebar lower bar and a few other items. Just go to the Wrench and click on Tools, then Extensions... after your in Extensions go to the bottom rigth where it sez get more extensions go to the top and type in igoogle in the search box after it opens look for
"SUPER IGOOGLE" V.213 AND INSTALL IT AFTER YOU RESTART GO TO THE
RIGHT AND CLICJK ON THE LITTLE COGWHEEL AND GO TO THE BOTTOM AND CLICK ON WHAT YOU WISH TO REMOVE. Again I hope this is what your lokking for if not email the guy who made this software his name is Richard and he's
a good guy who'll go out of his way for ya.
