I expect you uninstalled Windows Live programs as an alternative of simply deleting files. You can try this and after trying this make sure that if you get solve your issue after trying this for that you have to begin Internet Explorer with no add-ons by right-selecting the IE picture on the desktop. Select Start with no add-ons. If the difficulty goes away, you have an unsuited browser add-on installed.

Here is same issue. I bought system with windows Vista 64 bit OS. IE8 is loaded with 32 bit as well as 64 bit. I am not capable to open any web page by means of IE8 x32; however IE8 x64 appears to effort well. Difficulty is that IE8 x32 defaults while the browser is wanted from another program, in addition to the page will not open. There is no choice to arrange the default browser to IE8 x64. I do not believe x32 is intended on being non-matched with windows Vista x64, however it seems that it is, so how do I get rid of x32 as well as set x64 as the default browser?

I advise utilizing the System File Checker to seem for missing as well as corrupt files that could be reason for the problem. To resolve whether the problem that you are having is because of one or more system files that are utilized by Windows Vista, so from my opinion you have to run the System File Checker tool. The System File Checker tool scans system files as well as replaces wrong editions of the system files by utilizing the accurate versions. So you have to try to run the System File Checker tool. Please let us make out if this assists.

When you press 'Default Programs' in the start menu in addition to afterward 'Set your default programs', is there simply one item known as 'Internet Explorer' or two? If there are two of them, choose the one of them in addition to observe if it says 'This program has the entire its defaults' (on the right). Choose the Internet Explorer thing for which this is not showed as well as press 'Choose defaults for this program'. There press 'Select All', afterward Save and after that OK.
