To view the source code, right-click on the message you want in the message list and select View Source from the menu that appears. The complete source code of the email will appear in a new window (or tab) in your browser. You'll find the headers and body content of the message. When you give right-click a Hotmail message you get a box that says "View message source" and leave that window you'll see this: "X-Originating-IP" and then the number corresponding to IP as well as many message data and, where well who are receiving it and everything relating to that message since I released until I get to your mail many more data

View the source code of a message can be quite useful: for inspiration for one of your future messages first. But also know, as part of a HTML mail is stored on which server the images displayed in the email, and as part of spam, see if there are no small invisible tags that validate your address on a server. In short: inspect the source code of an email allows you to know much more about its author. And can allow you to do a little investigation and take appropriate action.

Some emails include without you informing 2 parts. One contains a message in plain text format for software that does not support HTML and an HTML version for more advanced software. But your software only displays one of the two parties. To view the actual content of the message, you must display the so-called "source code": that is the body of the message that is sent to you, before interpretation by your email program or your webmail.

Do not be fooled by appearances: it shows you that your email program or your webmail is not always the message body itself. for examples: When the layout of your email is worthy of a web page, there is no doubt for example that it is HTML, the language for describing Web pages, consists of tags of type IMG. So do you view that an interpretation of HTML. Have you tried following this path: Options (above right corner of your Hotmail page)> Email> Display Settings> Message Header> checked "Full" to see if the IP was not?
