Looking for some methods to convert protected .wmv file

I have a small query which I would like to ask this from you. I have some documentary movies in the wmv format. Whenever I want to watch such videos then I will have to log in to the internet, look for the videos and then watch it. The problem is that I have unlimited internet at night only. So whenever I want to watch that video I will have to wait till the night. Are there any software that are available which would help me convert the video in the wmv format to the format that is supported in my system? so that I can watch the videos whenever I would wish to in my system. So are there any converters available then do let me know as early as possible.

Well i would like to say that if the files are protected then then it would be very difficult to get hat particular videos from the internet to the system. Since it is a very difficult job, it needs to acquire some license and download some bar that will allow you to install that video in the system. So do go ahead and see if it is asking for some information form you. If it is being asked then it is upon you to get a license for that video. I don't think so you would be able to convert the videos from the normal converters that are available in the internet. So do try with this suggestion and let me know if that works or not.

Well i have got some methods for you. You must definitely try with this methods and let me know if that works or not. In the method 1 you can try saving that page which contains the video and try playing it in the offline mode. so until and unless you clear the cache memory of the particular browser you would be able to watch h the video in the offline mode. in the method 2 you can try using the total video converter and check if you would be able to convert a particular wmv format video file and then play it in your system. In case that also does not work. You would have to save the bar that is being given in the website and then save it in your system. Then do the necessary steps that will be given to you. So do follow the instructions that are given to you. While doing this method one thing you will have to keep in mind that there is a lot of threat to the system while doing so. If you have a latest antivirus program in your system then do go ahead with the installation.

Hey thanks for all the information that you have given. Well let me tell you that i have got all the necessary information here. I am thinking of going ahead with the necessary downloads of the bar that are required to play the video in the system. I know it is a big threat to the system but i have an updated version of the antivirus program available in the system. So hopefully it will protect me against all the threats. I am hoping that the video gets successfully installed in the system. Anyways thanks a lot for providing all the necessary information to me.
