Unable to connect internet with DNS Client Event

I am having serious problem while I try to connect with internet. It takes almost 10 minutes to connect with internet. I have found lots of warning from the windows log event viewer regarding DNS Client Events. I have tried two different cards to solve the problem but there was no difference in the situation. I have installed Windows 7 x64 on my computer. For your information I am having another computer on which I have installed Windows XP which works without any problem. Please tell me possible solution to fix the issue.

Well I can determine why you are having problem while you connect with internet. You have provided nothing about your system specifications and the information about the error. Also provide me parameter of the TCP/IP stacks. You can find the parameters by entering ipconfig on the command prompt. I also wanted event log of the error. Please reply as soon as possible so I can figure out why the problem is generated and what troubleshooting steps should be taken to overcome from this situation

Well I am having a solution that you can apply and see that its working or not. I think you should enter into Device Manager. Now right click on the Network Adapter. Select Disable from the right click menu to disable the Network adapter. Now again right click on the network adapter and select enable from the right click menu to enable the same. I am hoping that it will help you out to fix the problem.

Re: Unable to connect internet with DNS Client Event

Well I was having the same problem that you are facing currently. I was using Atheros L1 Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T on my P5KC motherboard. I have tried with different types of settings and finally the following mentioned setting worked for me and now I am not having trouble. Well you have to navigate to Advance setting of the network adapter. You have to switch Off ‘Task Offload’ if it is on. Well it worked for me and I am hoping that it will fix your issue. Let me know whether it was helpful or not.

First of all I am suggesting you to change the speed of the Network card to 100megs from the auto. If it does not work then I am having a universal solution for your problem. Well I am suggesting you to update your Network adapter with latest firmware. You can also update the router firmware with latest update. I think update the devices with latest update problem will not exist. Thanks a lot for reading this solution.
