I want to block my internet connection with the help of router configuration

Hello,
I am having a network at my home. It consist of a wireless router and laptops connect to the router via the wireless connection. I am not having any problem with the router or the wireless connection, but i want to block my internet connection using router configuration. How can i do this ? Is there any method for doing this? Please suggest me the one.

I think that there are routers which allow to create a firewall rule in order to have a control over the Internet access. This is by default that every one on the LAN can access the internet. Blocking can be done with the help of the features available with the router. I cannot provide the exact point since you have not mention the model of your router.

Even i am facing the same problem as above i.e. How to block internet connection using router configuration? I am having the Cisco Wireless G Router lynksis in my network. I have a computer connected with this router and laptop as well. I want to really implement this thing as early as possible, so please provide some solution.

This thing have to be done manually each time, because there is no other good options. So for doing this you need to enable access list for filtering the user with help of their MAC id. On the list include yourself. If you want to allow them to use the internet then Disable Access List. This can help you in solving your problem. If need more help then give your reply.

I tried you solution and it seems to be working for me. With the help of MAC id now i am able to block a particular user, whom i don't want to allow to use the internet. It was really a good solution to implement. Thanks to Ernesto4 for providing such a solution. The people who wanted to do the same thing can try the same solution.
