Facebook site does not work on my system

I am trying to open up facebook site on my system but it is simply not working. I had first restarted my router and then checked that. But nothing happens. I restarted my computer and still the same issue. My other site is also very slow. But Google works. I am not getting proper thing behind this either my net is down or only facebook site is not working. Need help to fix this. Thanks.

You can first checkout the connection issue from the other part that is from the service providers part. My net was not down but there was some issue with the DNS server. My website responds too lately due to which I was not getting sites on my system. I had called my service provider and they had resolved the same. You must try out the same. Also try to troubleshoot your router.

It actually depends on the state of your line, its quality, your registry, your modem, and perhaps also the number of subscribers but I'm not sure about the same. If your service provider has given the same line which you have to many users then you can face net fluctuation. I had too faced some downfall in my internet speed but that goes to normal after sometime.

If you are using Firefox then here is some settings for that. Type about: config into the address bar. Then hit enter. Then in the Filter window type network and scroll to network.http.pipelining. Now double-click it and the value will change from FALSE to TRUE. The line below should be network.http.pipelining.maxrequests and it is the default. Double-click it and increase the value by typing 10.
