What is going on with IE8/Yahoo?

Just a couple of weeks ago, I updated to IE8--based on advice that I should ungrade. Being I worry about not being up to date, I upgraded. Although, I thought this upgrade was out long ago? Anywho, its Not running as smooth as it was before. Links were fast, and quick. Now, when in Yahoo accessing mail, it seems to hesitate and load slow. Graphics on page take nearly a minute to compltely load up--which is highly unusual from past experience. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there an upgrade I missed?

Also when clicking link to some other web site, it does not open in maximized window--always a min. window. Seems there is something I should know to correct this, but I don't. Threfore I come to the experts here. Really scratching head on this end.

Have you tried this to run the same under other browser. try to get access on other browser using the thing and then check out. Also as it is been done you need to check out for the issue that is the browser may be corrupt after the update or some issue with it. Reinstall the browser and then check for the thing. This may help.
