Suggestion for Connecting my PS3 using a Mobile Modem.

Hello,
I use Sony PS3 and I use Nokia N73 in that I use Airtel live internet connection and now I want to make connection between my PS3 using a Mobile Modem. First tell me is this possible or not, I know it’s possible with the computer but I don’t want to connect my PS3 to my computer give Suggestion for Connecting my PS3 using a Mobile Modem. Because these days there's only a certain amount of gaming to be had off line, Please help me.

I think there is no need to use Mobile Modem to your PS3 because if in your PS3 you have 60GB model then there is inbuilt WiFi technology in your PS3. Using this you able to make your PS3 internet enable I think it will support 11 mbps to 54 mbps data transmission. I am not sure I think this model 3G supported models. I think you have to just activate your WiFi technology and I think after that you need to have any external internet connection thru a wireless router and/or modem. I think after using this solution you able to solve your problem.

Ok guys here we go.
• First you have to find out which companies games will support the Mobile Internet bandwidth, most of the game you may not able to play using Mobile Modem.
• Then you have to buy a 3 network dongle and the data transmission speed may be near per month of 10-15 gb
• Then connect this dongle in your computer or laptop
• Then using data cord connects your PS3 or without data cord but for data transferring you have to activate your Wifi technology from your PS3.
• Then run network wizard from your computer it is for conferring the PS3 with your computer.
• Now you able play games online.

Add following things in above steps because I try this steps but there is one problem in above step, after using this steps you may have to use following steps.
• After using above steps your firewall may not able to give internet access to your PS3, because any third party firewall device windows not give any direct access .
• Then in your PS3 open network connection and run it, select auto option it will automatically apply all the setting.
• Then run the connection wizard after successful running save all the setting and close this window and bingo there you go... now you able to play online games.

I think for making easy and simple internet connection then you have clicked all the boxes which is for give accessibility to all the people use your phone internet connection, and I think using this internet connection you my use your PS3 with your mobile internet I think for that you may need not to obtain any IP adders. But this not secure connection anyone use your internet connection with knowing you. use this solution it will help you to solve your problem.
