Internet connection establishment fails with USB ports

Hello. I have a desktop machine with Windows 7 installed as the operating system in it. The problem that I am facing is with my internet connectivity. I have connected my router and system through usb in order to access internet and the problem is that it used to work when connected on the front panel Usb port. But when I connected the data cable of the USB port to the back panel the internet connection establishment has been failed. What could be the problem? Please help me out.

This is basically the problem with the back panel port. It may be that the back panel port may be malfunctioning and is unable to detect any device that may be attached to it. It is probably that when you connect the data cable to the back panel you are not able to get the internet connectivity properly. So it would be better that you get the router connected to the front panel.

Many a time it is quite to possible to happen that the the data cable of the device is not of good quality and is tend to loose its connectivity range power very soon. This may result in frequent disconnection and no establishment in internet connection. It would be better if you use some other data cable and then check out for the issue. This may sort the problem that you are currently facing.

As you have changed the connection port to connect the cable it need to install the drivers for that port as well. Until the drivers for the new port that is been installed it may not work well. So install the drivers for the port to which it is been connected and then restart the system. This may then help you out in making the things to work out for you.

Installing the the drivers for the usb panel port may not result for the output or establishing the connectivity. You may need to assign the Ip address and the dns server address as well. This would then assemble the system to interact with the address in order to establish the connectivity. This would then make the connection to work out for you.

Us ethernet cable to connect the device with the system It has higher portability and higher data transfer speed connectivity that that of the USB. This may help you in getting the access to the internet without installing g any drivers for the same and the only thing you need to do is to assign Ip address and the required field that has to be assigned. This will sort the issues and thus enabling you to establish the connection.
