I think you have not completed your connection of WiFi with your computer and that is why you are getting the problem while accessing it on your computer with the linux based operating Ubuntu 9.04. So, it is necessary to do the setting with you operating system and solve your problem. So, just do the connection in proper way on your computer and then try to access the WiFi internet.

I am not the user of Linux operating system, but the user of Windows xp operating system. But, while searching on internet regarding your problem I come to know that you can solve your problem with the help of following stesps:
    • First you need to create a file in the path as /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-ipw3945.
    • Then you need to add the following in it:
      blacklist ipw3945
    • Now copy this file to /etc/modules
    • And add above to it:
      iwl3945

I think you are having problem in your Ubuntu itself and that is why you are getting this problem of Connection. So, I suggest you to install your Ubuntu again on your computer and then solve your problem. So, just install it and then perform all the setup and configuration carefully on your computer. It may be possible that you will able to solve your problem and then you can connect with internet from your WiFi connection.
