How to find computers WEP Key

Hi all,

I have a wireless router and want to set up a wireless network, so i need a WEP key, how i find our Wired Equivalent Privacy key in my system. Please suggest. I am using windows vista ultimate as operating system. Thanks in advance.

WEP is a deprecated algorithm to secure IEEE 802.11 network. You need to type 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 in your address bar . Some routers may have a default ip of something like 10.0.0.1. Check your routers manual that is your router to find the default ip if necessary. It may be prompted for a password. The default username is admin and password is admin or password. then go to setup screen for your router and you will see your WEP key.

It is depend on what router you have used i mean whats company model, Because some router come with own software package that include find WEP key for your system.
