Firefox crashes all the time on Windows 7

Hi Everyone
I am a Firefox user for the last 3 years and I was using it without any problems.But last week i have purchaseda new Acer aspire 5738 laptop .I have also installed the latest version of windows 7 . But to my surprise I found that while I was surfing over the internet it crashed. I restarted it but it crashed again. Please suggest me some solutions so that I can get rid of the consistent crashing?

These kind of problem can be solved by following the steps below:

1. Hold the window key and then press R.
2. Now , the FF will enter into safe-mode so that all other Firefox extensions will be disabled temporarily.
3. Check the corresponding checkbox and continue.
4. Browse for some time if the firefox does not crash , consider it as an installed extension.
5. So track it and uninstall it.

I was also facing a similar kind of issue, tried a lot off stuff but that resulted to nothing. Actually when i was searching for it in a number of forums i found a reply which told me re-install the firefox .I uninstalled the firefox , I went to the official website of Firefox and got it installed online this Idea really worked for me . If nothing is working for then just give it a try hope your problem will be solved.

Even I had the same problem until one of my friend suggested , in fact he himself solved this issue by following these simple

1. Uninstall the previous firefox running on your PC .
2. Now, install firefox again.
3. go to start menu and type firefox.
4. choose firefox (safe mode).
5. disable the add-ons when asked.
6. go to tools and add-ons.
7. disable 'automatic password input in fx' .

This is a very common issue faced by most of the windows 7 users . This is due to the older version of Firefox . Try to check the version of the Firefox you are using . If it is not the latest one try installing it from the Mozilla Firefox's official website and then this bug will be solved automatically

I am also very fond of using the Mozilla Firefox .I am using it for the past 5 years .In that period of time I discovered that in almost all cases a corrupted profile or a misbehaving add-on is the primary cause of Firefox instability. These add-ons initially behaved well but after a period of time got corrupted.
I would like to recommend that try to create a brand new profile and for a day or two install your extensions from fresh downloads from the Mozilla site. Also some of these add-ons provides a restore or backup settings. So create a backup of the old profile and then import the r new profile and add-ons up .
if your problem is not solved still check out Mozilla's list of known problematic add-ons to see if your favorites cause problems on its website.

why are you so desperate to use Firefox if you can use the IE try the latest version of IE which is freely available over the microsoft's website. If you do not want to use it . You can use the Opera browser which is also a wonderful browser . If you can get a new browser easily then why are you wasting time in solving such issues.

First of all i would like to thank you all for giving me these valuable suggestion . These suggestion have worked for me . Also I tried using the Opera browser it seems to be quite good . And has some extra ordinary features and is far more secure than all other in its category. THANKS Again!!!!!!!!!!
