Email notification on mobile via sms

I am using internet in a office but can not check my Gmail account at all the time. I can not reply on emails at that time when it comes. Is there any setting in Gmail to receive email notification in mobile phone via sms when email arrives? Email notification alert me about incoming emails. Is there any email notifier in Gmail?

I had to wait for email in vacation or meeting or had to check my email account at all the time. Now I am using SMS4Mail software. It will check and filter your account and send sms to your mobile when new email comes. Only From"+"Subject"+"Date"+"Body" = 160 characters will be sent. You can send your email notification on multiple mobile phones. My suggestion would be install SMS4Mail software.

By making some setting in gmail you can receive email notifier. You need to find free email to sms gateway for your mobile. Then open your gmail account and go to setting and then select filter tab. Click on new create filter and enter the email address for which you want to receive SMS alert. It send message with about 150 characters as soon as email hits your inbox.

I have simple solution on your problem. Just go to way2sms.com and register on it. In that there is email alert section, click on that and fill the fields like email address and mobile no and then select activate. You have make some changes in gmail.This site send you email notification when email arrives in your inbox.
