Firefox Error message : This object has been blocked

Hi,

I've been using Firefox since last few years. But today I found that there is a new beta version of Firefox, but I can not download it. Every time I click on the link that says "This object has been blocked." I have checked the configuration settings in every way I know of that are identical to those of other programs that work perfectly.

Firefox gives Error message, "This object has been blocked" because it has been blocked by your anti-virus, open your antivirus, go to Control Panel, click the Main tab of the Privacy section. I had the same problem, I was getting error, This object has been blocked but the problem was that the activeX was blocked. I had set each settings to Low, but it was still blocked. Because of this, I was not able to update Windows. I do not know if , your having the same problem or not, but I was able to download and install updates manually.

The message "This object has been blocked." when downloading files is usually caused by Zone Alarm Pro or other software-based firewalls blocking a certain file type. See below for recommended firewall settings, clear the browser's cache (Firefox 2: Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Network / Cache -> Clear Now"; Firefox 1.5 and prior: Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Cache -> Clear; Mozilla Suite and SeaMonkey: Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Cache -> Clear Cache), then try again.
