Cannot open opera or IE

I am using PC that have configuration of 3.06 Intel processor ,1 GB ram.I have installed McAfee anti virus.I recently downloads update from sites and it deleted my files. My task bar shows dial up networking icon but opera cannot be opened web pages.Please help me out?

I am using Windows XP in my Acer computer. I had problem regarding opera and IE. The problem was they could not be opened. I downloaded new version of anti virus and scan whole PC with that anti virus. AVG neutralized threads that were detected in my PC.Now my browser working properly.

I am using Windows Vista in my Compaq laptop. Some days before I could not open my browser and my computer suddenly hanged. I used anti virus to remove threads but it would delete system files so I formatted the drive and installed fresh copy of Windows Vista. So format the hard disk and install new software.It will work.

I have HP laptop having Windows 7. When I started my opera browser it showed a message regarding my browser so that I would uninstalled that version and install new version.
