    Problems after using CCleaner

    I have some small problems since my last use of CCleaner and I had used to remove the automatic startup of software and I took the opportunity to remove 3 or 4 other settings does not seem important. Among them were "iTunes Helper", a program including "Nero" and another which I have retained the name. However, I had not deleted his entries at random, I still thought about their usefulness.

    Unfortunately, I had clearly not thought enough about it because my computer has started to make me little jokes:

    - The Quick Launch toolbar has disappeared but was nevertheless still checked in settings. I had beautifully cleared it, and recheck the restart, it will reappear;

    - When I open msn, my address and password were not recorded as usual;

    - Also when I open Firefox, it has opened a window asking me to import my data from IE. Obviously, all my data was erased because I have no bookmarks or skins or plugins, or home ...

    Furthermore, my recent bookmarks saved in the appropriate folder (Windows/User/Application Data etc ...).

    If you know how to undo a deletion using CCleaner, or if you know how to fix these problems, I'd be very grateful for me to share your info!

    Perhaps doing a system restore to a date, an hour before your operation? You may end your settings I doubt it but I see no simple solution, except reinstall the software.

    Someone will perhaps find a better way to recover the settings?

    I managed to recover all my bookmarks with the extension Xmarks, which takes away a thorn from the foot.

    However, still no way to restore the Quick Launch toolbar, so I'm ready to test your proposal. But how do I take? How to perform a System Restore from a time?

    In Windows XP

    Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Restore ...

    Then choose the date that corresponds to the last known stable configuration.

    1) no guarantee, however, the result - you can cancel and return to the original configuration.
    2) it is highly likely that you need to reinstall your firewall/anti-virus, protection software do not like at all to revert to an earlier state than they have already "marked". It must then repair/reinstall
