How to Backup Firefox Configuration ?

Hi,

I am new to firefox 3. I want to do some changes in the about:config, to make by browser, I am looking through the contents I see several sites but they have not mentioned of about:config. How to Backup Firefox Configuration before I do changes??

How to Backup Firefox Configuration:

1. Select Run in Windows
2. type% appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
3. Displays a Windows folder has a name like xyz.default (the name can not be the same on all computers, but in the end with. Drafting by default).
4. Open the folder and then copy the file prefs.js to a safe place.
5. Then you can simply close the Firefox application and restore prefs.js return back to its original location.

I recommend that any changes that you feel like making about: config done in user.js You can use the user.js file to install the latest versions, while changes made in about: config pref.js are written, not to be used for a different version.
