AT&T is blocking my torrent applications

I am using the bandwidth of AT&T. I noticed a lot of times that AT&T is blocking my internet connection as soon as try to use some torrent applications such as BitTorrent, I am getting disconnected from the network and so I have to reconnect everything. Am I the only one or is this some kind of bug with AT&T network?

Now a days many of the ISP's are blocking torrents in order to prevent piracy of software. Some time most of the ISP's set the rules for such users so that they can never get maximum internet speed. Often disconnect those users for particular time period to avoid any further problem.

There are many ISP who rate their customers according to their download of illegal things. They do not block any programs but restricts the network. Also if your are said that you have the unlimited download connection then that doesn't mean you will be actually getting unlimited download, there is some limit set for your download.
