If i delete friend from Gtalk chat....

I mostly used Gtalk as my instant messenger. As i am using it from years, my contact list has became very long out which lots of contacts are those that i use less often. Actually i don't want to keep those contacts any more in my list. So i just wanted to know if i delete any contact from Gtalk, will the person come to know ?

I don't think the person related to the deleted contact will come to know about that because when you delete any contact from Gtalk, it will be deleted just from Gtalk but remains in Gmail contact list. In Gmail, the drop down menu will show to "never show that person in GTalk Changing this to always will then populate that name back into GTalk.

Once you delete any contact from the list, you will see offline to the concern person unless and until he can see you online on some one else computer who is having you in his contact list. Than he might came to know that you have delete him from your contact list.
