    Dotted Border in a Image

    Hi,
    I am developing a small web page for a project. I have small thumbnail images which I want to insert them in the page. Here I want to add a dotted border around the images to define them separately. How can I do that. Second thing how can I add and remove the same dotted border on the buttons in a web page. In the same way if I want to remove the borders around the image then how to do this. Thanks in advance.

    You can do the same in Adobe Photoshop. You can add a dotted border around the image and save it. You can also add a dash border around the images. To do this open Photoshop and create a new image. Set the transparent background 8x8 pixel in size with RGB colors and resolution of 72. Then just zoom the image and select the pencil tool. Select a single pixel brush then chose your background. Then here go to edit meny and click on Define pattern. Give a desired pattern name. Then open the image where you want to insert the border. Then go to layer style > blend options > stroke. Add a single pixel stroke. Here you are done.

    The border in the image can be added in Photoshop. It is the simplest way. Bu the result will be permanent. You need to just define the pattern and layer of the image and then give effects as you need. Then for the second query to remove the border from the button on the web page see the tags. To remove the dotted border from a image give this tag - {border:none;} and to remove the borders from image lines then give this tag - a:active, a:focus {outline: 0;}

    The image editing can be done by many image editor tools. There are multiple available. Then here to remove the the dotted border link from the web page you will need to add a tag to the website. The tag is - {outline: none; }. Insert the tag to the <button> </button> tag in the web code. Save the codes. This will remove the border from the button.
