Get error 12007 while connecting to www.microsoft.com

I had installed Windows Vista on my system. The problem is that whenever i try to access Microsoft website it shows an error 12007 on my desktop screen. It fails to connect to www.microsoft.com. Can any body tell me taht why i can't connect to www.microsoft.com? Does any body knows about this issue? Kindly help me out to get rid of the above issue. Any kind of help on the above issue would be appreciated.

Try to go to your add/remove programs, and then open up your windows components,and then try to open management and then finally click on monitoring tools. Then try to open up your network services,then try to check alll and then close out by pressing on the next for the wizard to run. then you need to click on Next in order to open up your control-panel,in that click on network connections,and then right click on the iconand select properties in order to make all is checked.

Try to open your command propmpt and try to run a command and type in: "ipconfig /flushdns" and then click on Ok. Then again type in "ipconfig /renew" and click on Ok. Then type in "netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt" and need to click on Ok. Then just reboot your system.

I think you need to re-install your network adapter on your system. Try to find out the right network adapter for your system and then try to download it on your pc. I think that wold help you to resolve your issue.
