I don't think this is plausible on any Nokia phones (I am not an OFFICIAL cause however). I know on some Siemens handsets it’s conceivable. There you unequivocally utilize the Generic Connection Framework to enter the IrDA.

I am altogether positive that you would be able to enter the phones IrDA interface with a java application. The vast majority of the games(apps) I have appears to be installed with some methods which debilitate the IrDA access every time I attempt to transfer the container and jug documents to my PC. This is one exceptional game plan to in reality avoid unauthorized appropriation of the applications. Any individual have any hints on how this might be achieved?

At my finish its working fine with Series 60 apparatuses 3650/6600 and on progression 40 Device. You are able to utilize the CD furnished by S-60 phones & can utilize Developer Suite for S40 phones. Anyhow the situation I was challenging was with OS. It doesn’t work legitimately with 2000. Anyhow it is going with Win-98. Unite the gadget & keep it in the extent. Then it will reveal to you that it has associated or not. Since yes then you would be able to transfer your information. No, in a Nokia you talk IrCOMM. Some apparatuses permit IrOBEX. So in any manner, you should enable regardless up to Tintype.

It could be feasible, in the event that it was plausible to enter IRDA port utilizing Python: remote control "emulators" for Nokia in fact do exist, so it IS practical... it’s simply a matter of doing it! In any case probably, as opposed to disturbing IRDA codes, code catching, code seeking, order implementations, there would be able to be an additional way: py60 can copy keypress! Thus, actually introduce IRREMOTE on your phone, compose a project which utilizes remote upon appropriating SMS... then again transfer the project so I am able to download it!

Be that as it may I displayed the scenario, and I found out that improving the embodiment of a system without any preparation is useless: Total IR Remote even now exists... even though I am yet equipped to respectably fathom how to utilize it. Thus, why might as well I reinvent the wheel? I might actually compose a python system which interfaces to IR Remote, by imitating required keypresses to actuate the recorder!

I'd get a kick out of any chance to do some tests, but I cannot if my phone could not venture to as a matter of fact control my units, so I require some assistance: does whoever know where to identify codec's for Italian SKY decoder and for LG DVD recorder rh 255? I'm utilizing a 6600, I found many "plausible contestants" for codec's (.ir documents, .txt indexes, .ccf documents ....), but cannot resolve how to get them going with Total IR Remote 2.0 for 2nd version.
