Script that allows me to Switch User

I would like to know that is there any code that can allow me to click on that and it would bring another user. I can go to the Start up menu and can change the user by switching off the User or logging to another user. But I am curious to know that there should be some script that can do this same job. If anyone knows about this script please provide to me. Also does the Script differs for different operating systems??

You can try this Script for Switching the User. First you will have to enable the fast user switching which is present in the User Accounts. The User Accounts is present in the Control Panel. After enabling this put the shortcut on your desktop to
    %windir%\System32\rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation
Now clicking on this will switch the user. Also there are different scripts (according to me) in different operating systems. The Script that I mentioned was for the Windows XP.

So you want to switch the user without going to the Start Menu. You can do this without putting any script. The only thing you have to press is the WinKey+L. When you press this combination you will be automatically redirected to the Log off menu. From here also you can change the user. Hope that you will forget the script and start doing the same.

You can also try using the Script that I have mentioned. I think it should directly take you to the "Switch User" Screen.
    %SystemRoot%\System32\Tsdiscon.exe
    Does that helped you.?

I think that the Script mentioned by the 'opaper' which is
    %SystemRoot%\System32\Tsdiscon.exe
this is for the Windows 7. You can also try to change the user rights by going to the gpedit.msc. For going to the gpedit.msc, just press the Start Button and type the "gpedit.msc" in the Run command and then press OK. You will go to the gpedit.msc and you will get much stuff about the Shutdown and Switch user, try to do some R & D. Make sure that you are not doing anything wrong there because that can cause your operating system to corrupt.

You can also use the shortcut program that allows you to Switch the User. But for that you will have to download that program from the Internet which is known as Switch_User.zip. After downloading this Zip file follow the procedure :
    1. Click Save and save it to the Desktop.
    2. Right click on Switch_User.zip and click on Open (placed on Desktop).
    3. Then click on Allow in the UAC prompt.
    4. Extract the Switch User shortcut to the desktop.
    5. Move the Switch User shortcut (on desktop) to where you like to use it at.

This is shortcut for switching the users in the Windows Vista.

You can also set the shortcut of Switching the User manually in Windows Vista. For doing manually follow the steps :
    • Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\tsdiscon.exe in a Windows Explorer window.
    • Then right click on tsdiscon.exe and click on Send To, then send it to Desktop.
    • Now close the Windows Explorer windows.
    • You can rename that by pressing the right click on that shortcut.
    • Type Switch User and press Enter. (any other name can be fine)
