Need some information on Default Controller in server

    Hi,
I am working on a project in web programming. During a project work I came to some terms which I finding hard to work on. I want to know what is a Action Controller. What is the work of it. And second thing how can I improve the group policy objects in default domain controller. Is there a way to edit it. If yes than how can I do that. Currently I working on Windows Server 2003 based pc. I designed a site and the above issues are creating problem here. Any suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The C in MVC is called Action Controller. The controller here is responsible for generating and responding towards the output of a request. Action controller does a lot of work here. It uses a smart and straight way to perform the process. Here the main work is to get the request, fetch it and save data form the prescribed model and then at last save the same in HTML output. So in simply words a controller is a like a middle man which acts between the model and views. The process here is to make the data in model available to the view in order to display the data to the users.

Here is some tips by which you can improve the Domain Controller group policy objects. You are currently running Windows Server 2003. So you are familiar with Active Directory. Windows Server 2003 is normally used to setup a Active Directory based network. So here there are two default Group Policy Objects. This objects are configured in such a way that they can provide minimum level of security to your domain. Now there are many way by which you can improve your GPO's. It is recommended that you should create a new GPO instead of altering the old one. So in case of any error you can restore your setting back. Make changes to the following terms in User Rights Assignment policy first allow log in to your local Account users, Administrators, Backup Operators and Server Operators. Then shut down the system account operators, Administrators, Backup Operators and so on. As you reduce a number for people then no one can log to your domain controller.

It is possible to edit the Domain Security Policy. The solution if applicable to Windows Server 2003 only. First Domain Security Policy is a single policy of the entire network. You can just set different policies for your users. To edit it click on Start > Programs > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Domain Security Policy. In the windows you can edit and change the policy settings. In the same way you can edit Domain Controller Security Policy by going to the same path.
