Thousands of WBLOGSVC Event ID 1006 errors

I am running a Windows SBS 2003 with Service Pack 1. Due to some unknown reason I’m getting WBLOGSVC Event ID 1006 error generated every second in my Event viewer log. The complete error says the following:

“The Web Logging Service failed to log an event with error %1”

Somebody please help.

I think you should try restarting the WBLOGSVC service and see what happens. You can do this by:

• Click Start->Run.
• Type "services.msc" and click OK.
• Locate to "Web Usage Logging Service", double-click the service and click Stop.
• Restart the service and reboot the server to test the issue.
• Please also check if MSSQL$SBSMONITORING is running. If not, please start the services.

Thanks a lot for the help techman. Restarting WBLOGSVC service fixed the problem.
