SBS 2003 Remote Web Workplace issues

Need some help regarding Remote Web Workplace on my SBS 2003. The problem is actually I’m not able to connect to RWW as a Local Admin group member. In details, I’m able to install Microsoft Terminal services add-in as local administrator but cannot as local admin group member. Whenever I try doing anything like this, it gives me an error message saying:

"This portion of the Remote Web Workplace requires the Microsoft Remote Desktop Active X Controls. Adjust these settings and try again"

As a troubleshooting I modified my permissions for active x download and installation so that at the least I should get prompted. But still I don’t have access to RWW as a member. Any idea what could be the problem and how can I fix it?

As far as I know Microsoft RDP add-on should be installed on the clients that will connect computers in the Remote Web Workplace. Moreover, in case you are trying to connect from client with Internet Explorer 8 browser installed then remember that all ActiveX controls are disabled by default after you install Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3). In order to enable RWW RDP web connection, you will manually need to enable the ActiveX control on the clients.

There could be some security settings as well which would be blocking the connection. You need to recheck it again. See if it is as provided below:

Click on Tools -> Manage Add-Ons -> Enable or Disable Add-Ons in IE to enable the Terminal Services ActiveX control. If you are unable to see/enable the Terminal Services ActiveX control in IE7 on XPSP3 as a workaround can you try deleting the following registry keys:

    HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ext\Settings\{7390f3d8-0439-4c05-91e3-cf5cb290c3d0} HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ext\Settings\{4eb89ff4-7f78-4a0f-8b8d-2bf02e94e4b2)
Once you delete these keys, the activeX control should be enabled in IE7.
