WSUS 3.0 Installation Failure problem

I have installed WSUS 3.0 on Win2K3 DC successfully but i am not able to create or attach a database to sql server 2005. I see Error Code 0x80070643 in WSUSSetup.log file. I dont know why i am getting that error message, i haven't installed any MS Office products. Has anyone faced this error and can help me out fixing it??

Either post complete MSI log file here or post line where it says FOR ATTACH" -l from it so that i can go through them and get better idea of the issue you are facing.

This is what ive come across FOR ATTACH" -l:

The file "e:\WSUS\\UpdateServicesDbFiles\SUSDB.mdf" is compressed but does not reside in a read-only database or filegroup. The file must be decompressed.Msg 1813.

Is there anything i can do about it??

I have checked about it and have found that this error message comes up because of folder option where database file reside. So in order to fix this Go to folder properties > General Tab > click on Advanced button > check "Compress or Encrypt attributes" section and make sure that very first option i.e. Compress contents to save disk space" is unchecked.
