How to add computers using GPO?

I want to use the GPO to add computers to the WSUS Server and dont want to use the manually configuration, so for that I configured the below settings:

WSUSAdmin -> Options -> Computeroptions -> Use GPO or registry on the computer

After that, in the GPO, I set how to configure automated updates, by using the option to download automatically but install based on a time-table. I also set the internal path to the WSUS server. But the issue that I have is that still there are no computers in WSUSAdmin. If I go to the tab computers then I get the message "This server was configured for computer based Targets. Some changes on computers and groups cannot be applied". Any ideas what does this means? Thank you.

There is nothing to worry about the message, it is just telling you that you may not be able to manually move a computer from one group to another in WSUSadmin. Did you check the group of All Computers and are they listed there? If they are not then you will need to send in a copy of windowsupdate.log in %WINDIR% for us to check it at.

Maybe, you can try to use Group Policy to add the MaxTokenSize registry entry to multiple computers, just go to this website here - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/938118

I am a further question. If we want to have computers added automatically but we need to have different types of criteria, ie servers patch automatically but clients need to be approved, can we have that? The problem is that by doing things manually it makes it difficult to keep up.. thanks
