Overlord II begins as the new bad guy no more than two turven high. The cute overloaded by the faithful Minion of his father in a town on the icy edges of the inhabited world, far from the center of power. That power is transferred in the hands of the Glorious Empire - clearly inspired by the decadent Roman empire in its aftermath. If the legions Nordberg winter approaching, the game begins. The young Overlord by his youthful playing friends bullied because he is different. As the toddler, however, discovered that he has magical gifts, he takes revenge inexorably. When he first used magic, diving the first Minion, who the guy recognize their new master. It ensures that the young Overlord gives a strong dislike for both the residents of North Mountain, where the arrogant Glorious Empire.
The small transhipment is only for your guidance in the game. After the introduction, the boy grew up to an old Overlord of format and it is a pleasant familiar game. You have also made available the first Minion, the firm Browns. This makes also clear that much remained the same in Overlord II. After the Browns get the Reds again, that of distance throw fireballs, and the Greens that the enemy from behind trying to stalk. The Blues have healing gifts, just as in the first part. Although clearly the control of the game is falsified, the design remained largely the same. Roughly you move your Overlord with the left and Minion with the right bat. What is clear is that the drive more pleasant than that of the first part. Especially the Minion move better and they are less often. The camera implementation is better than the original, which you something too often on a button to ram the Overlord back neatly on his back to look. That is no longer necessary.
