How to Install Office 2003 and 2007 on Same Pc ?
Hello, I Want To Install The Office 2007 and 2003 on the Same Windows Xp Machine, I have Recently Formatted My Harddisk and Wanted to Install the office 2003 but as I Now Got a office 2007 copy also I Was Just Wondering Whether I could Install Both On the same, the reason Behind Doing is That Office 2007 might Not Support my Files , So I just wanted to know about Thanks in Advance

Hello, You can do it if you choose different folder for each one, but it is of no used to installed different Office version installed on same pc

The answer is yes, except for Outlook which as in previous versions get a little precious if this is attempted (it will not let you do this, btw). You can choose to have them both installed to the same drive or one to an external hard drive, it does not matter. The key option is when installing Office 2007 is to customise the options and select to NOT uninstall the previous versions. When you install both copies of Office to be installed on 1 machine that switching between Word 2003 and Word 2007 will result in an install dialog box coming up

why do this? because if you want to keep Office 2003 because you prefer it to you not open the file in 2007 because of the new extension you just download a pack to make them compatible with Office 2003 here

You should first uninstall both versions of Office in the order that they were installed reboot the computer between each uninstall and before you install Office 2003 first and fully update it before you install Office 2007 and fully update that version
