My hard drive has stopped working suddenly. I had checked it properly. When run the system the hard drive starts and the motor inside that stop suddenly after some time. That shows that the motor of the drive is failed. How to make that work. Can it is possible for me to repair this disk physically. What are the tools needed for that and what is the procedure for the replacement.
The motor inside the harddrive or spindle is also called as spindle shaft. This is responsible for the rotation of disk platters inside the hard drive which operates when you work on a pc. It is the storage media where your data lies. It is reliance and consistent and can work for continuous hours. If this stops working your system crash. You cannot at your own hand can replace this. Better try to give the same to a service center.

In a AC motor you can observe that this is done by supplying current in a changing direction. To make your spindle spin you have to build up a circuit which reverses the coil that depends on the sensor inside the drive.
