I am running Windows Xp on my system. Now the problem is that when i try to play game on while using Xbox 360 console it screen gets freeze up. I'm using a Lynksys wireless router. Can any one tell me that me that why does my screen freezes while using Xbox 360 console? Anyone has any idea about it? Please help me out to resolve the above issue. Thanks.

Switch off your console, remove all the connected accessories and cables that are attached. Reconnect everything and turn it on. Most of the times, it is the Disk which you are using for playing the game. Problems arise while using some specific kind of disk, say movies or games. You can diagnose this by extensively using one kind of disks first and noticing the console´s response.

If you have a HDTV then you need to switch off the console and find the HDTV switch and set it to TV and as soon as you are done with the settings, switch it back to HDTV. Overheating is unfortunately an extremely common problem. If your Xbox 360 is freezing only whilst playing online, then it is most likely down to your Internet connection rather than the console itself. Check that everything is setup correctly and that you are using filters for your broadband connection to prevent it getting affected by the phone line/phone calls.
