Keyboard not working on Blackberry Q5

The keyboard of my old Blackberry Q5 is not working. I am using this from long time. The keypad suddenly stopped working. It is a old phone which I had purchased from my friend at a cheaper price. I tried to restart the phone but that also did not worked. I need some help here to fix the keypad. Can I do that manually. Is there any option to buy keypad online and add it in the phone.

Take to the service center. That is the only place where you can get fix. I had faced a issue with the screen recently. I took it to the repair center. They charged minimal for that and done. It is working fine now. That is the best place to get proper fix.

You cannot replace that at your own. You have to take it to the service center. There is no DIY kit available on the web through which you change the same on your own. Now if it is a very old phone, there is no use of replacing the same. It is necessary to get a new one instead. There are many mobile repair shop. You can try taking the phone their and if they had any dead piece left you get the replacement. Q5 is a qwerty phone and it is not easy to find a keyboard part for it. I had seen some site on web which sells the parts separately. It is costly and there is no guarantee that it will work. They also don't have any return policy. It is necessary that you must first try to find the cost in service center. What they are charging. If they are asking for a minimal amount then you don't have to pay anything much. Your phone will start working fine. But if they are charging too high then you must simply avoid repairing it and get a new one.

If it was some other model like Nokia, then it is possible to get a cheap repair for that. You can find the parts very easily on web and on regular mobile shop. But if you are going to for blackberry or Sony then it is very hard to find spare parts.
