CDMA2000 network support in HTC One S?

I want to buy HTC one S but before can somebody tell me about the cdma 2000 network support on this phone. In my area, this network is much popular and usable in most of the phones. So it would have been better, if this new piece will have support for cdma 2000 network.

The HTc one S is based on the GSM network and it is designed mainly for the intention of GSM SIM cards. Due to this the phone can be used in any GSM network all over the world. This is one of the best features which makes this phone as all time favorite. So it is not CDMA compatible but Verizon and other major carriers might be planning to launch this phone over CDMS network but currently there is nothing.
