Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime does not charge

I don’t know why but my Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime is not getting charged. I could not get the root cause whether the issue is associated with charger or device itself. I searched on the internet to get the root cause of the problem but there was no solution available to fix the matter. any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

Re: Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime does not charge

Well I am suspecting that device of yours is not detecting the device. It is giving output of 5 VDC @ 2.0 Amps rather than of 15 VDC @ 1.2 Amps. . if the device of yours is charging at 5 VDC then it will charge slowly and it will not display the charge indicator. Either you are having defective charger or USB cable. So you should get another charger from your friend of yours and test the issue. if device is charging you should get new charger from the official distributor.
