Hello friends, i have purchased the Xperia Mini pro a month ago, recently have seen that getting the scratch on the keypad of it, just above the mic hole. It is happening when i am slide the phone. Earlier i was thinking that it a defect from the slide. So what i was thinking that if i give the phone for Sony Ericsson Store and get the replace for it? So i wanted to have a good phone which is not have a single scratch. As this one was making scratching automatically. Please help me, thank you.

If you wanted to go to service center for the replacement, you can try it for your own satisfaction, but i do not think that it will be replace it. This is been marked as physical damage and company will not agree that it defect in the phone. If the phone is been under warranty and there is any physical damage then it is been not replaced.

I was facing the problem too and went to Sony ericsson service center, so i got the reply that it is been the common issue which is been faced by xperia mini pro user and they are not able to help it.

I have checked my phone properly and observed that there is something in the slide whcih is making the scratch. So when i do the screen slide then it makes the scrathc, so they will not make it proper also?Originally Posted by RidD

What you are saying will not be the perfect reason which will be proper for the warranty. I would suggest that you should send the phone to the Sony Ericsson Service Center and let the them to check the phone and make it proper and i think the problem which you are having is not normal problem. The problem will be able to be fixed and should fix it before that it might get worse.

Even i am also getting the scratch line, but getting on both of the side. You can be able to view of both sides of the keyboard. When doing the slide then i am able to hear a very slight scratching sound, it can be hear closely while sliding it. So what should i do?
