sony ericsson x8 wont start

hey guys i just thought u might be able to help me. i tried installing android 4.0.3 on my x8 and it turned off and now keeps getting stuck on the black screen with white "sony ericsson" on it. i have tried a hard reset but the hard reset screen wont come up but the green light flashes when i try. plz can some one help me, i need my phone and cant afford a new 1

What you can do is, just try by doing the Software repair. As you cannot start your phone, you can make use of the SE Update Service which do not need to turn on the phone. I dont think that there is any option to take the backup of any of the data from your phone and so this is the only option for you.
