Live with walkman has the worst display

The live with walkman is my first sony ericsson product and it proved to be the worst. I bought it 2 weeks ago and within these 2 weeks I faced the display problem. The display contract is so worst that whenever I set the display with black theme, I am unable to see the word google in the google search widget. if I set the theme to blue in the application drawer and check any red colored icons like adobe reader, it makes a big grey colored shadow type thing if I flick the page to right or left. Hope it’s just a small issue which is repairable as I can’t afford to spend more money either in this phone or buying any new phone.

First of all let me know whether you are facing the problem with just the home screen or on all other applications you open. If it’s only happening only in the home screen then I would suggest you to try a different launcher, you should not have problems in getting the launcher because you can get number of different launchers that can support your phone from the android market.

Tried but nothing worked. The problem is still the same, after trying out another launcher the problems I faced are:

• The bad contrast color – whenever I set black color for any wallpaper or theme the contrast automatically change, white become very shiny and it will take over the other colors.

• Bad response time - Colors like Red leaves a noticeable shadow behind when you flick the page quickly.

Initially I thought that my handset is defected but when I checked the same model in different retailer shops, the problem was similar in all of them.

Not only Live with walkman but also my Xperia mini pro facing the same contrast problem. It Seems like most of the latest models of SE came up with the same issue. The screen looks like completely washed away whenever I use a dark theme activated in my phone.
Initially I thought Bravia Engine was the reason for this problem, so I tried turning it off but it made no difference. I thought to replace this phone with some other model of Sony ericsson but now after looking at this thread I will surely change my plan.
