No my friend option which you are talking about it is not possible and also i want to say that the Toshiba has never support fro the CPU or video card upgrades. Where i know that the laptop which you are using us having the 7200 RPM SATA drive, so when you will be trying to do the upgrading then the desktop HDDs is not been compatible with it. So you might be able to understand the reason.

The Toshiba company has stopped giving the updating for the video drivers for the laptop which you are using it. I wanted to share that the latest video drivers which are been made are more faster and also having the bug fixes and support for new games. If you try to download or downloaded on the system and try to install of the present graphics card then it will not work with the laptop at all. I have heard that the Toshiba and Nvidia, both the companies are working on such kind of the problem and will try to bring out some solution for the user to update it. If such things are been solved then it will be very nice to use and it will be official from the Toshiba.

You can try to download the beta drivers on the laptop, as i have try it for my laptop which is the different model not same as yours. So when you will install the beta drivers then it also allow to install the drivers from the nvidia and all will be official.

I think you might be having the PM55 chipset on the laptop which is the same which i am having on the x505-Q830, you can try and get the update for the 720QM or 740QM processor, you just download it and install there will be no issue with it. I think you will be having the 180W power supply on the laptop, so if you do the upgrade of the processor then it will handle till the i7. I have done with mine, as i was having the 120W power supply with the 720QM processor, so it has worked on that, i am sure it will work for you also.
