there was a long time use of my LG Optimus as an alarm clock . it didn't came under failure circumstances. the only thing i concern is you have to keep your phone turned on. as there are cases where after turning off the mobile the alarm still rings as it has the capacity to energize with the remaining amount of low battery. but this is not the case in my android phone. it does not tend to make the alarm when it is switched off. i need to turn it on and then there is hope of alarm.

hi guys, according to me android phone takes care of apps for alarm clock as well and you need not worry about it as to my consideration Android is stable enough . there were no more issues standing on the side of android phones , unlike the problems with the iPhone a few months back. In other case i also had my evo, running 2.2 and still as my personal alarm clock every day it woke me up. Has been perfect for the year I have purchases the phone.

i can positively say that there were no problems so far and i will mention further that I have a habit of flashing ROMs on my phone on a regular basis. The further you get into kangs and nightly builds, there is the stability on my phone. It is often superior , but according to some people you will not know until you've had your phone freeze in your sleep the night preceding an important morning meeting.
