Logitech webcam software error in new Acer5253 – BZ660 laptop

Friends, I have serious error with Logitech webcam software, this error comes when I brought new Acer Aspire 5253 – BZ660 with windows 7. Before that I was used Dell with XP SP3 also I have new version of Logitech Webcam software with Quick cam Pro 9000. It works rally good with my old one. But since I used my new laptop that error occur. I don’t understand, what should I do now? Any suggestion friends really needed.

I would like to give you some steps to solve this problem,
• First you have to uninstall Logitech webcam software
• After reinstalling you have to restart your system.
• Then you have to download Logitech webcam software 2.27, save this software rather than run.
• Then clean mode should be activated on your system
• Install Logitech webcam software2.27.
After this procedure, turn on your system on normal mode. Now you can check your problem may get solved or not? If you have any issue related this topic, you can ask me frankly.

Thanks for your suggestion; I followed your steps, after switch on system in normal mode from clean mode, same problem still occur in software. Any other solution, guys please help me I am still in problem. I tried so hard to find out other solution.

I want to give you suggestion; first you make sure that Logitech webcam software file is marked at correct path. After that you have to click on start menu, in that search, type Logitech webcam Software.exe. Then Right click on list on you have to choose properties, next you have to make that the file path C:\Program Files (x86)\Logitech\LWS\Webcam Software. If you get any difficulty then you can ask me.

I tried your path but I didn’t understand whatever you made suggestion. I really thankful to you for these solutions but can you explain me briefly your suggestion. I wanted to understand this suggestion more clearly because I wanted to share with everyone who faces this problem.

If you didn’t understand whatever I written in my post then I will explain you briefly.
If you followed first suggestion, after comes from safe mode to normal mode then plug in your web cam and save Logitech web cam software 2.27. See its proper working or not.

I have also facing same problem in my new laptop. But my problem is in Windows vista, I really needed configuration related Windows vista, anyone knows how to solve this problem?

I will suggest you to contact with Logitech customer care, they will investigate your problem and can easily solve it. I think you have to follow this solution, without doing any setting.
