Latest BIOS for sony vaio VPC-Z1

Hey, I have sony vaio VPC-Z1. I am running R3061U3 version, what is the latest version for bios? My friend suggested me to update the bios !how to find my bios and update it ? please help?

you can use the following steps to resolve the issue...
go to control panel -> performance and maintenance ->system hardware –> device manager-> system devices
Now do right click on: "Microsoft System Management BIOS Driver" and click on "Update Driver”.
Then click “yes” and then “this time only”. Then click on “recommended”.

these are few steps I found on the internet to update the bios, but it is on your own risk. Not sure if it will work or not.
All you need to do is download FreeDos, and install it on a usb stick.
1. unzip my files to the root of the USB stick

2. Boot from the USB stick
Don't change any boot options at this point (even though it says something about installing stuff on your hard drive it won't).

3. Just hit enter at the first menu and enter again at the second menu

4.then you are at a command prompt
type "C:" hit enter
then type "FLASH BACKUP.ROM /G" then hit enter to backup your BIOS
then type "FLASH HACKED.ROM /F" to flash on my hacked BIOS.

5. reboot go to the BIOS (F2) and setup Static VGA Switching Policy.
