Unable to run application provided by RIM in blackberry Bold 9790

HI, I am having blackberry Bold 9790 mobile phone and in which i have noticed as it doesn’t supports complementary applications offered by RIM. I am not able to find out what could be the problem with the same but still i however i am not able to get it worked. Any suggestion regarding the same will be appreciated.

Ok, will you please let me know whether you are getting problem getting any particular application or with also all the applications from the RIM? Because see if you are having problem with any particular application that simply means the problem could be in the application itself. And after all getting it from the RIM is not the only way, i mean to say you can simply can it from any other website as well,.

I think surely there could be some problem with the firmware installed in your phone, i do have the same phone but still I am not able to get it run however i used to run almost all the application downloaded from the RIM itself. Thus, have you ever tried resetting the firmware of the phone? if not then I would like to recommend you that you should first try to reset the phone and see whether you are getting any variation or not.

Apart from that you should also be aware as what actually resetting does. I mean to say whenever you make soft resetting to the phone, it will only reset the settings in your device whereas hard resetting to the device will restore all the previously data to the phone replacing existing data.

Now over here I would like to recommend you that you should also put an emphasis on the word “replace”, because it simply means all the data that you have already stored in the phone will be wiped out thus, it is always recommended to make backup of important data then only proceed with the same or else those data will be wiped out.

Though i have the same opinion as the above user but if suppose still you are pursuing the same problem then i would suggest you to reinstall the firmware as far as my personal opinion is concerned.

Or else i prefer to used the application no matter from where we get it.

Hey i think you didn’t understood what exactly happening. I am not talking about the downloading any application, rather i am not able to run the application which is comes as a complimentary with the phone.

Exactly, if suppose you are not able to get the application provided from the RIM then you should try to make use of another application. Or simple if suppose you wanted to have the same application then also you can get it from another sources as well rather than this RIM.

I think you should try to clear the cache for that application and then see whether you are able to run the application or not.

Though i am not having the same phone but still i used to do the same thing with my android phone and all the application that used to get problem starts immediately.

I have the same opinion as the above user as you should first try to clear the cache and see whether the application started working or not and if suppose you are still getting problem then you should simply delete the application from the phone. don’t worry as you can simply download the same from the blackberry appworld as well.
