They showed this in Europe which introduced the Sony Vaio Z completely redesigned with sleek lines and polygonal forms, giving a very modern and a truly futuristic look. It is introduced as the VAIO VPCSB1A9E / B in Europe, this new Vaio comes with Intel Core i7-2620M, 8GB RAM, 128GB disk space on your SSD, Vaio Plus screen 13.3-inch 1366 x 768, AMD Radeon video 6630M HD with Intel HD graphics, backlit keyboard to work at night, Blu-Ray, WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth and, last but not least, USB 3.0.

This new and very stylish Vaio Z will bring an energy-saving mode called Stamina Mode, which extends battery life up to 7 hours. And as if that were not enough, optional second battery has a slim removable, which can be loaded separately from the PC and then be placed without removing the main battery or turn off the PC. With this extra battery further increases the battery life up to 14 hours which is known as the Stamina mode. This is really interesting.

They have redesigned it very well. This high-end ultraportable 13.3 "offer a brushed metal finish, weighing about 1.2kg and will run on the Intel platform with a Core i7 Sandy Bridge, a SSD, an AMD graphics card, the HDMI 1.4, USB 3.0 and Intel Wireless Display. But that's not all because it would also be accompanied by a docking station with integrated burner Blu-Ray/DVD, several connectors (Ethernet, VGA, Thunderbolt) and a second graphics card AMD Radeon series HD6700M. Available in two colors (black and gold), it could be officially announced within days.

Many people are saying that the Vaio S Series replaced the Vaio Z. Indeed, it is partly true because Sony decided to split its Vaio Z into two parts, the high end like the sound of today and the middle line which joins the Vaio S.

When you take this new Vaio Z in hand for the first time, you are pleasantly surprised by the weight distribution. 1.18 kg, it is not already heavy but when it's evenly distributed this is even better. The finish is excellent and includes the standards imposed by Sony on its top models. The keys are well spaced and we appreciate the backlight. I am also waiting for the same and I hope that this will be available soon.

I also appreciate the additional graphics card that brings that little more graphics power. Of course, it will not run in a Crysis Ultra 2 but otherwise, it's more than enough, not to mention that this is designed to used often in the office or at home. As a result, it also allows Sony to optimize the battery for use in mobility. In terms of connections, you connect the Media Dock Power on the Vaio Z and it is on the dock that will connect the power cable and this is not bad.
