Sony w8 : SMS - Could not send

I am using sony w8 phone, when i try to send sms it says could not send and the sms is not going. When i put other sim card in the same mobile, able to send the sms. when i put this sim card(Airtel postpaid) in other mobile, able to send sms. I replaced by old sim card with new one(with the same mobile no), it was working fine for few weeks again i got this problem.

Model : Sony W8
Android version : Android 2.1

If any1 facing the same issue or know any solution, please let me know

Well the only cause for this problem is the SMS CENTER Number, as you said there is no problem with another sim card. To fix this, simply call Airtel customer care on 121 and ask them the proper SMS center number. will be fixed in seconds.

It could be a network issue, so try contacting the your mobile network provider and ask them if there is any issue in their services? Also have you tried inserting another new sim card and checked if messages can be sent out properly. If you can send a message with another SIM card then the problem will be related to the orginal SIM.
