Acer aspire 6930 wont boot

Hi, i have this machine but still I am not getting what could be the problem as yesterday even it was working perfectly but still when i was starting it today it was getting an error message that the machine couldn’t find any operating system to boot. I am not getting what happened exactly.

Any suggestion for resolving this will be appreciated.

I am not getting what problem you are having exactly with the machine, anyways have you tried to boot the machine with the safe mode? If not then you should first try to do that and see what happens and then mentioned it over here.

Though i am agree with the above user but still it would be better if you simply mentioned the symptoms that you are having with your machine such as,

• The laptop appears to be dead.
  
  
• When you plug the AC adapter the power LED and the battery charge LED light up.
  
  
• When you press on the power button, the laptop makes a series or short and long beeps and will not start up.
  
  
• It sounds like the laptop is booting normally (hard drive LED is flashing) but there is no video on the screen.
  
  
• You start the laptop and it starts making repetitive clicking noise or grinding noise.

It sounds like your Hard drive is gone. Thus according to me you should try to download Windows 7, or whatever your operating system is and try to re-install your OS. Don't forget that, if your device is listed, you'll properly have to delete everything on the drive, with other words, format it.

Do you have another HDD you can try out? Because see this way you can test whether the one that you have is working perfectly or not.

i have mentioned the LINK, they have mentioned some of the steps prior to boot the machine, thus i would like to recommend you that you should try to try all the steps mentioned over there.

if you are still pursuing the same problem with the machine still then it could be because of the operating system, and it seems like it could be corrupted and that’s why i would say you should try to reinstall the OS once again in the machine. or else i don’t think you have anymore option left over here.
