Wi-Fi Tether on HTC Sensation XL work As Infrastructure Mode

Hello friends, I have heard that the Wi-Fi which is there on the HTC Sensation XL is working as the Infrastructure Mode as it is the actual Wi-Fi Access Point and also it is working as the WPAx mode. I have searched on the internet about it and I have not getting any information about it and also I am not getting that it is correct or not. So can anyone please tell me about it and also if you are having information about then please tell me. Thank you.

I wanted to tell that what you have heard is correct and the Wi-Fi is been access point. So the Wi-Fi which you will work with WPAx and infrastructure mode on the HTC Sensation XL and I wanted to tell it is not supporting ad-hoc network.

I do not agree with the above user as all the Wi-Fi Tether which are there on the Android work as the ad-hoc, so I do not think that the Wi-Fi will not support the ad-hoc networks.

I wanted to tell the above user that the Android does not support the ad-hoc network connections and the HTC Sensation XL supports WPA which is by default the hotspot uses WPA2 (AES) for security. So you might be clear with the Wi-Fi for the phone and also you will be able to use the phone.
