speaker not working in dell venue pro

HI, I am having dell venue pro and started getting problem with the phone as whenever I make or receive calls I just can’t hear the receivers voice whenever I put the call in speaker mode. Is there anybody having same problem with the phones? Any suggestion for resolving the same will be appreciated.

I think it might be possible as there could be some problem with the firmware of the phone, because once I was also getting same problem with the phone and it doesn’t matter which phone I am using and at that time I was also thinking about the same as there could be some problem with the speaker of the phone but afterward when I reinstall the firmware of the phone everything were working perfectly, thus I would like to recommend you that you should make sure whether there isn’t any problem with the speaker or with the firmware of the phones.

I am agree with the above user as you should make sure whether there is some problem with the firmware or not, but for that reinstallation is not the only way according to me as you can test the same thing by resetting the firmware as well in the device. Thus you should first try to reset the firmware in the mobile and then see whether you are getting any variation in the result or not. Because see if there will be some problem with the firmware itself then it will be resolved after resetting It.

But if suppose you are having same problem with the phone then you can have option for reinstalling the firmware in the mobile and see what happens, but still I am not sure according to me it would be better if you visit the service center once and see what they are saying about the same.

i was also having similar problem with the phones and unfortunately I have to change the speaker of the phone as it was damaged. And really as far as dell customer support is concern that’s is most worst thing they have organized.

Yeah off course you can have replacement for the particular hardware but still before that you must have to ensure whether this was a company defect or anything happened wrong with the device and since you are having this problem with the phone.

But still let me tell you once again as there shouldn’t be any damaged done by you or as it will be consider as a mistreatment to the device and you must have to have warranty period remain for the same, and as far as my personal recommendation is concern you should get an replacement from the service center only rather than any other technician.
